2006 Acura RL Real World Gas Mileage
The 2006 Acura RL was a luxury car with five-passenger capability. 2005 RL was provided with premium suspension and technology packages. The 2006 Acura RL real world gas mileage varied quite a bit from the estimated values during initial test results.
Acura had initially claimed an unbeatable real world gas mileage of about 30mpg during the showcase of 2006 RL, but when it actually hit the roads, things turned out to be a little tricky.

The 2006 Acura RL real world gas mileage was close to 18 miles per gallon in city streets, but it improved drastically to about 26 miles per gallon on highways.
Under suspension package, shock absorbers, 17-inch alloy wheels, and four-disk brakes are included, where navigation system, dual zone climate control, and adaptive cruise control included in technology package.
Coming to the gas mileage estimated during test results, the 2006 Acura RL gave about 19mpg in the laps of city routes, and 25.5 mpg on highways. The overall gas mileage of the 06’ RL was calculated to be close to 22mpg.
The 2006 Acura RL used a 3,471 cc (3.5 liters) V6 front engine for generating of torque about 347 Nm at 5,000 rotations per minute and energy of 216 kW or 290 HP SAE at 6,200 Rotations per minute.
